When you access this screen, it allows you to view and filter alerts triggered by your system. The view is integrated with the Location Hierarchy Tree, allowing you to monitor specific locations, buildings, or zones with precision. The system defaults open to the most recent alert, displaying its details automatically in the right-hand pane.
Navigation & Location Filtering
Filtering by Location: Clicking a specific location in the tree filters the Alerts table. It will show only alerts related to that location and all of its sub-locations.
Global View: To see all alerts across the entire system, select "All Locations" at the top of the tree.
My Notifications: You can now sync your dashboard view with your personal alert profile.
How it works: Toggle the Notification Filter on the dashboard to instantly hide any alerts that don't match your specific "Custom" settings.
Why use it: This allows you to clear the noise and focus exclusively on the locations, rules, and priorities you are responsible for monitoring.
New Alerts
When you are on the Alerts screen, the system will show a flashing “New Alerts” button and a number if there are new alerts. You can click on the "New Alerts" button to refresh with these new alerts.
Alerts table
The dashboard displays a table with the "Alerts" and their relevant information. You can search, sort, and select the alerts within the table. You can also click on an Alert to see its full details.
The table shows you:
Detection Images - The smaller image of the alert that was identified. You can hover over this image on the table to see a larger preview of the crop before choosing it.
Priority - How urgent the Alert is based on the rule's settings.
ID - This is a distinct ID of the alert that is clear, easy to locate and search. The ID also shows up in the browser's URL so you can share the Alert with others. You can copy the URL from the browser or by using a copy icon on the top right of the page.
Rule name - This is the name that the Rule creator gave in the Rules Engine.
Confidence - This shows how certain the system is if it detects a face that matches. See more info in the Rules engine about Confidence
Stream Name - This shows the name of the stream that caused the alert. This usually tells you where it happened.
Name of Person – This shows the name of the person if the face was matched by the Alert.
Action – This icon shows whether the Alert was created by an action like fighting or falling.
Creation Date - This displays the date and time when the Alert was created. This will appear in the local time format of the browser language. If an Alert is displayed on the same day as it was created, it will only show the time.
False Alerts – You can mark an item as a false positive (alert) with a reason. The table shows if an item is marked as a false positive and the reason appears when you hover over the icon. At the same time this item can be submitted to Protect research for improvement if allowed by the system administrator.
Search, Filter, Navigation, and Find
You can search, filter and find alert details above the table. You can also select multiple alerts with this function.
Additionally, we’ve enhanced navigation within the alerts page Clickable Entities, so when you click on an entity like a stream, person, or rule, you will navigate directly to the specific entity page.
Sort Order
You can sort by any column except for image and action. Just click the column header. Click again to change the sort order.

The Alerts pane displays the alert details. Each alert has some relevant information that may include:

Alert Clip - This clip displays a period of time around the alert detection, you can use different features by hovering over the video. You can start/stop, view in full screen or save the clip. Double-click the video to quickly enter full-screen mode.
Live View - The alert video player includes a "Live Preview" button that allows you to switch from the recorded alert to the live stream (if available). This helps in evaluating the current situation next to the stream. You can switch back to the recording at any time, and the system will prompt you to confirm if you wish to continue watching the live feed after 30 seconds.
Low-Quality Person Image – If you have chosen to use low-quality person images in your rule, alerts will be indicated if a low-quality person enrolment was matched. Extra caution should be taken when this kind of recognition is received.
Authorization Status - This shows whether the rule that generated the alert is for an authorized action, such as a VIP being identified, or an unauthorized action, such as a person crossing a line.
